Great side story filling in some blanks on the Enochian War series. Really enjoyed this book and look forward to all future works from the author!

While not my absolute favorite of Luke Mitchell's various stories in this universe, this was still an absolute blast to read. Especially the last third or so. Holy crap. I was intrigued by the idea of seeing the events of the Enochian War series from a different perspective, but dang, if things didn't end up going sideways in ways I did NOT anticipate. Definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next!

I really enjoy this author's sense of humor and his characters, though the humor is more muted in this particular story. I could try to drone on with details but you can just read the book's blurb. It's not your typical science-fiction, which is refreshing. I intend, in the not-too-distant future, to reread the series in chronological order rather than written order because it's a world I would very much like to revisit.

SIDE STORY, yup. Good book. Recommend to start with other books for the LUKE NAIVE reader. Pretty good there Luke. I truly enjoyed getting into the head of Smirks (pun intended). I enjoy this author's writing and his stories. I enjoy the notes at the end of his books and in his newsletters as much as his books most times.Highly recommend reading all of his books. Start with the Harvesters Series and keep on rolling for an entertaining ride.

I have received this book with no obligation to review..This is an honest review...Author Mitchell has expanded his characters detailed in his previous "ENOCHIAN WAR STORIES" (AKA the funny,and action-packed "HARVESTER SERIES") All novels in this series are a treat to read,and this latest story is no different.Characters come on strong and well-defined,and some mysteries are explained...A tongue-in-cheek telling from a planet's conflict with aliens from the "other side". RECOMMENDED READING!
